RegistrationStart/finish: Visitor Center, Afton State ParkRegister between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and finish by 3 p.m. The TrailSanctioned for 7km with a 4km, 1km, and 2km naturalist walk.The 4km will be on the bike trail out to the south camping area and by the yurts, with signs for early turn around. The 1km will go around the interpretive trail loop and this trail will not be groomed or marked. Good for snowshoes! The naturalist loop will be in the prairie area for approximately 2km. Afton State Park has rental snowshoes available at the office. For those joining the Naturalist walk, traditional snowshoes will be provided. All others bring your own snowshoes or walk in your winter boots. Event Award Fox Squirrel leather pin, $9; IVV event book credit, $4; walk only, $4.
