Distance
and trails:
Sanctioned
for 11km.
3km
loop is an out and back following the campground and
return along the Big Spring Trail. Strollers can be used on this
loop.
5km
loop goes downstream out and back.
3km
loop follows Steep Rock trail. This will be very steep up
and down, flat but rugged on top.

State
Park Vehicle Permit
A
state park vehicle permit is required when you enter any state
park. Daily permits cost $7.
An
annual permit can be purchased for $35 and entitles you to an
unlimited number of visits to
any
and all Minnesota State Parks for 12 months after date of
purchase.
Refreshments:
Water and restrooms are available at the picnic shelter.
NSTT
will offer a participant picnic throughout the day for a
donation to cover costs.

Getting
There
15954
Cty Rd 1, Caledonia. Roughly 150 miles SE of Twin Cities. From
TC: Hwy. 52 south past Rochester to I-90. East to MN 76.
South thru the town of Houston to Cty Rd 1. Right to the park
entrance. From LaCross/ LaCresent: Take 61/16 south.
At Hokah take MN 44 south to Caledonia. At MN 76 go right;
when 76 turns, continue straight on Cty Rd 1 to park entrance.
